R point $\left ( 3,2 \right)$is reflected in the origin as R’. Q point $\left( -7,1 \right)$is reflected in the x-axis as Q’. Mention down the co-ordinates of R’ and Q’. Calculate the distance between R’ Q’.

In the question it is mentioned that

 R point = $\left( 3,-2 \right)$

Then, a R point is reflected in the origin as R’ $=\left( -3,2 \right)$

 Q point $=\left( -7,1 \right)$

Then, a Q point is reflected in the x – axis as Q’ $=\left( -7,-1 \right)$

Now, we have to calculate the distance between R’ Q’ x $=$ √$[{{\left( -7-\left( -3 \right) \right)}^{2}}+{{\left( -1-2 \right)}^{2}}]$

$=$√$[{{\left( -4 \right)}^{2}}+{{\left( -3 \right)}^{2}}]$

$=$√$\left[ 16+9 \right]$

$=$√$25$
