Selina Solutions Concise Class 10 Maths Chapter 17 ex. 17(A) - 22

Solution:

(i) According to the given question, We know that

\[\angle DBC\text{ }=\angle DAC\text{ }=\text{ }{{27}^{o}}\]

[Angles subtended by the same chord on the circle are equal]

(ii) According to the given question, We know that

\[\angle ACB\text{ }=\angle ADB\text{ }=\text{ }{{33}^{o}}\]

And,

\[\angle ACD\text{ }=\angle ABD\text{ }=\text{ }{{50}^{o}}\]

[Angles subtended by the same chord on the circle are equal]

Hence,

\[\angle DCB\text{ }=\angle ACD\text{ }+\angle ACB\]

\[=\text{ }{{50}^{o}}~+\text{ }{{33}^{o}}~=\text{ }{{83}^{o}}\]
