Find the second order derivatives of the functions given in Exercises $x^{2}+3 x+2$

Solution:

Let’s take $y=x^{2}+3 x+2$

Now the first derivative:

$\frac{d y}{d x}=2 x+3 \times 1+0=2 x+3$

The second derivative:

$\frac{d^{2} y}{d x^{2}}=\frac{d}{d x}\left(\frac{d y}{d x}\right)=2 \times 1+0=2$
