Find the roots of the given equation: $x^{2}+12 x+35=0$

\Rightarrow x^{2}+7 x+5 x+35=0 \\
\Rightarrow x(x+7)+5(x+7)=0 \\
\Rightarrow(x+5)(x+7)=0 \\
\Rightarrow x+5=0 \text { or } x+7=0 \\
\Rightarrow x=-5 \text { or } x=-7
\end{array}$

Hence, $-5$ and $-7$ are the roots of the equation $x^{2}+12 x+35=0$
