Find the mean of all odd numbers from $5$ to $20$. Find the new mean when each number is multiplied by $4$.
Find the mean of all odd numbers from $5$ to $20$. Find the new mean when each number is multiplied by $4$.

Odd number is that is not divided by two

All odd numbers from $5$ to $20$ are,

$5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19$

Where as n is the total number

$N=8$

Then,

$\bar{x}=(x1+x2+…xn)/n$

$\bar{x}=(5+7+9+11+13+15+17+19)/8$

$\bar{x}=96/8$

$\bar{x}=12$

Then, multiply all odd numbers by $4$ from \[5\] to $20$

$20,28,36,44,52,60,68,76$

$N=8$

$\bar{x}=(20+28+36+44+52+60+68+76)/8$

$\bar{x}=384/8$

$\bar{x}=48$

Hence, $48$ is mean of all odd number from $5$ to $20$ multiply by $4$.
