Steps of construction:
- Draw a circle with focus \[\mathbf{O}\]and radius \[\mathbf{3}\text{ }\mathbf{cm}.\]
- Draw one more circle with focus \[\mathbf{O}\]and radius \[\mathbf{5}\text{ }\mathbf{cm}.\]
- Take a point \[\mathbf{P}\]on the boundary of bigger circle and join\[\mathbf{OP}\].
- Draw one more circle with measurement \[\mathbf{OP}\]to such an extent that it meets the littlest circle at \[\mathbf{A}\text{ }\mathbf{and}\text{ }\mathbf{B}.\]
- Join\[\mathbf{A}\text{ }\mathbf{to}\text{ }\mathbf{P}\text{ }\mathbf{and}\text{ }\mathbf{B}\text{ }\mathbf{to}\text{ }\mathbf{P}\].
Consequently \[\mathbf{AP}\text{ }\mathbf{and}\text{ }\mathbf{BP}\]are the necessary digressions.
