Differentiate between pisciculture and aquaculture.

Solution: Pisciculture is the culture of just fishes to obtain products of fish whereas aquaculture is the culture of all aquatic plants and animals.

Aquaculture – Fish is a high-protein food with a lot of nutritional value. Fish development used to be centered on catching fish. However, the majority of the fish collected were used for industrial purposes and were rarely consumed by humans. As a result, an alternate approach for increasing fish output has been developed, which involves the farming and care of economically valuable aquatic species. Aquaculture is the name given to this approach.

Pisciculture- Culture Fishery is the regulated rearing of fish in bodies of water. It’s also known as fish farming or pisciculture. Remember that all aquatic creatures are scientifically reared and maintained through aquaculture, thus fish farming is a type of aquaculture.
