A bag contains $5$ white balls and $7$ red balls. If One ball is drawn at random. Then What is the probability that ball drawn is white?

Given that A bag contains $7$ red and $5$ white balls and a ball is drawn at random

to find: Probability that the ball drawn is white

so Total number of balls $7+5=12$

therefore, Total number of white balls is $5$

We know that the Probability = Number of favorable outcomes/ Total number of outcomes

Hence, the probability of getting a white ball $=5/12$
