Solar energy is used to heat water in a solar water heater. On a cloudy day, the sunlight will be insufficiently powerful and dazzling, thus it will be reflected back into the sky by the clouds. The sunlight is blocked from reaching the earth as a result of this. As a result, solar energy will not be available to heat the water in the solar water heater.
