Solution – energy can neither be created nor be destroyed; it can only be transformed from one form to another form is the second law of thermodynamics . Energy flow in ecosystem from external environment goes back again to the external environment . It follows the 10% law . The utilized energy  transforms into heat. Hence, ecosystems are not exempt from the Second Law of thermodynamics.
